| Kidou Rules and Guidelines In the past have usually had some form or purchasing of Kidou and then learning them that way, but on this forum we will heavily favor actual RP in order to learn new skils. That said we have come up with a new design for gaining and learning new Kidou spells. When a shinigami applies they auto gain a certain number of kidou based on your rank. Another important note, is that every Shinigami has knowledge of the Kido spells, 1-33. This means, these spells are auto learned and is not to be calculated, as part of the starting amount for each character. The Kido system will break down as follows:
Captain: Gain 7.
Lt: Gain 5.
3rd Seat: Gain 3
4th Seat: Gain 2
Unseated Officer: None.
So when you apply you gain auto learn the number of kidou listed above, however, you can only choose from the Kidou based on the your rank. Now moving on to how to learn and train for new kidou. The best way to learn new kidou is to have someone who already knows the spell teach you the attack IN CHARACTER. This means it must done in RP. Bakudou- Way of Binding

Kidou Description: Shitotsu Sansen is primarily used to disable. The practitioner generates a burst of crackling yellow energy in his/her palm and uses that energy to draw a inverted yellow triangle. The triangle then generates solidified energy in the shape of triangles from the the three points of the inverted triangle. The fired triangles hit the intended target and pin him/her against a nearby surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in the shape of a perfect triangle and immobilize the target.

Kidou Description: Tsuriboshi is primarily used to catch. The spell creates a ball of blue energy that fires out six "ropes" from its center. The "ropes" attach themselves to any sturdy nearby object and the energy in the center solidifies into a flat elastic-like cushion. The spell can stop falling objects similar to a safety net.

Kidou Description: Enkosen is primarily used for defense. The practioner can use either both hands or his/her Zanpakutō in a blocking motion. The spell then generates a dull yellow energy in front of the practitioner that takes the form of a large spinning disk of condensed reiatsu to block an opponents attacks.

Hadou/Bakudo/Healing Kido Name: Kakushitsuijaku (摑趾追雀, Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows; Viz "Seize Foot, Chase Sparrow")
Kidou Description: Kakushituikaku is primarily used for tracking and locating any spiritual force the user focuses on. The practitioner draws a circle with the appropriate symbols set apart in four quadrants upon the ground using a black powder. They then place their hands palms down just under the circle to activate the spell. The circle glows with a blue light as the symbols are animated within the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude.

Hadou/Bakudo/Healing Kido Name: Bakudo- Rikujōkōrō (六杖光牢, Six Rods Prison of Light)
Kidou Description: Rikujōkōrō is primarily used to disable. The practioner points his/her index finger at the target generating a spark of yellow energy. That energy summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams.[1] This technique can also be used after using Hainawa[2], as the six beams of light form from the light already used in Hainawa.

Kidou Description: Sajo Sabaku is primarily used to disable. The practioner raises his/her palm up to the target and closes his/her hand into a fist. The spell calls forth a yellow energy in the form of very thick rope to ensnare an opponent, its similar to Bakudō No. 4, but stronger, this spell binds the upper body of a target. According to Hachigen Ushōda, physical strength alone should not be enough to break out of a level 60.

The spell is usable around other already active spells.[1] It can also be used to trap people inside of it.

Kidou Description: Gochūtekkan is used primarily to disable. The practitioner clasps his/her hands together as five small yellow orbs with skinny tails emerge from between his clasped hands. They move up above his/her head and form into a circle of five. The practitioner raises his clasped hands up above his head and then down sending the orbs into the ground. A bright light is generated in the sky above the intended target which summons five incredibly-tall and thick pillars, which are connected to each other by chains, to pin a target to the ground.

Hadou/Bakudo/Healing Kido Name: Tenteikūra (天挺空羅, Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air)
Kidou Description: Tenteikūra is primarily used for communication. The practioner draws symbols upon his/her arms, hands and the ground using a black powder. The practioner then places his/her palms away in front and generates a glowing rectangular box. He/She then inacts various movements of the hands to create various root-like extensions in the air which connect to the glowing rectangle. Upon once again placing his/her hands up to the rectangle and activating the spell the root-like extensions glow creating a network extending out from the rectangle. The spell transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. In addition to reciting the spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms, which are animated by the spell to convey the messages. The messages can be spoken either by the caster or by another within the vicinity of the caster.

Kidou Description: Sōren Sōkatsu is primarily used for offense. The practitioner generates blue spiritual energy with his/her index and middle fingers and fires it as a concentrated blast at the intended target. It is essentially a doubled version of Hadō #33, Sōkatsui. The user fires "two" blue bursts of blue spiritual energy with much greater potency than the single shot variety.

Hadou/Bakudo/Healing Kido Name: Kurohitsugi (黒棺, Black Coffin)
Kidou Description: Kurohitsugi is primarily used for offense. The practitioner generates a purple-black spiritual energy that envelops the target with a powerful torrent of gravity that takes the form of a box of black energy, covered in several spear-like protrusions. The spears then pierce the box, lacerating the one inside from head to toe. The spell is very difficult to use, as even Aizen could only unleash a third of its power without stating the particular incantation, when he used it on Sajin Komamura. However, when Aizen later uses it on Ichigo Kurosaki with the incantation, it is noticeably different in appearance. The sky appears to darken as multiple boxes of black energy appear, each of them topped off with cross-shaped spears, before they multiply and appear to enclose themselves on their victim. Aizen claims, at least with the incantation, that it has the power to distort space and time.

Kidou Description: Ittō Kasō is a forbidden offensive technique. The practitioner can only activate the spell by using their own body as the catalyst. Kidou Description: The user focuses their energy into their finger tips on their casting hand or both hands. As the user speaks the number for the spell the tips of their fingers begin to glow with red energy. As the name of the spell is spoken a string of red energy shoots from each finger tip to the target latching onto the enemies joints and muscles. The user is then able to control the targets movements for a short period of time. This spell can be instantly broken if the target releases a stronger reiatsu. When the strings come in contact with the target, the amount of reiatsu being used by the caster is instantly expressed to the target.

Kido Name: Kyōmon (Mirror Door)
Kidou Description: As the user speaks the incantation and number holding their palm out in the direction that the attack they want to reflect is coming from, a large white door appears in front of the palm and opens up. Any energy based attack to enter the door is sucked up and the door closes. Almost instantly the door opens once more returning the blast that entered back at the target. If the energy absorbed is more than the kidou can handle (IE A higher ranked kidou or cero) then the door will explode releasing all the energy stored inside causing a point blank explosion near the user making it a risky kidou.

Kidou Description: Essentially a much large and stronger version of Danku consisting of four sides, Shiso Kekkai has several different variations depending on the skill of the user with each level being a different color. Despite the variations the strength remains the same being able to defend against level 80-90 Kidou and as strong as a Gran Rey Cero. Practitioner: After the incantation is spoken a green square barrier surrounds the user protection them from all sides. Expert: The user is able to cast two orange Shiso Kekkai at once. Master: The user is able to instantly cast up to 5 blue Shiso Kekkai at once.

Healing Kido Name: Kihonteki Chiyu (Basic Healing)
Kidou Description: The most basic form of healing, the user places their hands over the damaged body part or organ and begins by replenishing the targets reiatsu. Then using their reiatsu and the casters reiatsu they can heal opponents wounds. This works best for minor injuries and is mainly used to close wounds. Severe injuries will re-open if the target moves too much.

Kidou Description: (This was actually used in the anime) The caster faces their palm at the intended target as a green barrier surrounds them. The barrier heals all wounds and fully replenishes their reiatsu instantly making this one of the strongest healing techniques. The user can make up to 4 healing boxes however each box requires 1/4 of the users full reiatsu.

Anyone within that range will be affected by the kidou spell placing them under an illusion of complete darkness. This does not effect the user and only enemies will be affected by the kidou. The target/s lose all sight for the duration of the kidou unless the spell is broken.

Ki Level & Kido Usage The guide below will dictate the level of Demon Arts magic that can be utilized. This guide will take into consideration, each character’s efficiency when utilizing “Ki” otherwise known as “Magic power”. And of course the better you are at using “Ki”, the higher the level of spells that you will be able to perform. In some cases, one must ignore spells that states they can be cast instantly. This rule only applies to those with the required level of skills in "Ki" magic. Members of the 5th Division, will be able to learn spells, slightly higher than they amount they're allowed. For example, a Non Elite Practitioner, can learn up to level 36 spells, which is three levels higher than what they were initially allowed. It breaks down like this. Practitioner: 3 spells higher. Experts: 4 spell higher. Master: 5 spells higher. They will also be entitled to a discount worth 200 words off their training.
Non Elite
Practitioner: May cast spells up to level 33 only. The incantation for these spells must be recited in order for the spell cast to be at full power. These spells must be cast over a total of two posts. This means, on your first post, you would’ve begun the Incantation, and on your second, the spell would be ready for use.
Drawbacks: Hado spells will explode, and cause substantial burns to the arms and chest. Bakudo spells will backfire and partially bind the caster into place for a short while.
Experts: May cast spells up to level 37 only. The incantation for these spells must be recited in order for the spell cast to be at full power. At this level, the spells may be cast within one post.
Drawbacks: Without the incantation. Hado spells will explode, and cause substantial burns to the arms. Bakudo spells will backfire and partially bind the caster into place for a short while.
Masters: May cast spells up to level 44 only. May skip the incantation and may cast the desired spell in one post. Drawbacks: Non elites are not yet capable of double or later incantations.
Semi –Elites
Practitioner: May cast spells up to level 52 only. Incantations may be skipped, which reciting the incantation is not always needed to fire off a potent spell.
Drawbacks: Not access as yet to double or later incantations.
Experts: May cast spells up to level 69 only. May also skip incantations and are now capable of double incantations.
Drawback: Without the incantations, the spell being cast will not be as potent as it would be with the incantations. The spell drops by three levels.
Master: May cast spells up to level 80 only. May also skip the incantations and are now capable of double incantations.
